Before Your Appointment
Preparing your skin correctly is the key to achieving an even, long-lasting tan.
24 Hours Before
Exfoliate thoroughly to remove dry skin and create a smooth canvas for your tan. Pay extra attention to elbows, knees, ankles, feet and any dry areas.
Complete all shaving or waxing at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Avoid applying oil-based scrubs, heavy moisturisers or barrier creams after exfoliating.
On the Day of Your Appointment
Arrive with clean, dry skin free from makeup, moisturiser, sunscreen, perfume and deodorant.
If you need to shower before your appointment, do so at least 3 hours beforehand. If this isn't possible, a quick rinse is fine, but avoid exfoliating.
Wear or bring loose-fitting, dark clothing and open footwear where possible.
If rain is expected, bring an umbrella and wear clothing that protects your tan during the development period.
If your vehicle has leather seats on a hot day, placing a towel on the seat can help prevent sweating and friction while travelling home.
During Your Appointment
You're welcome to wear your own underwear or swimsuit during your spray tan, or disposable garments are available if preferred. Your comfort and privacy are always our priority.
After Your Appointment
During Development
Your tan requires time to develop. Your therapist will advise the recommended rinse time based on your chosen solution (typically between 2–8 hours, or overnight).
Until your first rinse:
Avoid getting your skin wet.
Avoid sweating or strenuous exercise.
Do not apply moisturiser, makeup or other skincare products.
Wear loose, dark clothing to minimise friction.
If sleeping in your tan, wear long, loose clothing to reduce transfer onto bedding.
Your First Rinse
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until the cosmetic bronzer has completely washed away and the water runs clear.
Do not use soap, body wash or shampoo during your first rinse.
Gently pat your skin dry with a towel rather than rubbing.
Caring for Your Tan
To keep your tan looking its best:
Moisturise your skin daily using a hydrating, oil-free moisturiser.
Avoid long hot showers, baths, saunas and chlorinated pools where possible.
Minimise activities that cause excessive sweating, as this can shorten the life of your tan.
Use gentle facial cleansers and avoid exfoliating products while your tan is fresh.
Avoid waxing until your tan has naturally faded.
Once your tan begins to fade, gently exfoliate to encourage an even, natural removal before your next appointment.

Before Your Appointment
Preparing for your appointment helps ensure the best possible retention and a comfortable application.
On the Day of Your Appointment
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and lashes.
Remove all mascara, eyeliner and eye makeup before your appointment.
Avoid using oil-based cleansers or makeup removers, as they can leave residue that affects lash adhesion.
If you wear contact lenses, we recommend bringing your glasses, as your eyes will remain closed throughout the treatment.
If you plan to shower or wash your hair, it's best to do so before your appointment, as you'll need to avoid steam and excess moisture immediately afterwards.
Please allow plenty of time for your appointment so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
After Your Appointment
The First 24 Hours
Your lash adhesive continues to cure after your appointment.
During this time, please avoid:
Water and excessive moisture.
Steam, saunas and hot showers.
Swimming.
Excessive exercise or activities that cause heavy perspiration.
Caring for Your Lashes
With the right care, your lash extensions will remain beautiful for longer.
We recommend:
Clean your lashes daily using a lash extension-safe cleanser.
Gently brush your lashes each morning with a clean lash wand to keep them neat and separated.
Use only oil-free skincare and makeup removers around the eye area.
Avoid rubbing, pulling or picking at your lashes.
Never use eyelash curlers on your extensions.
Avoid waterproof mascara, as it can be difficult to remove and may reduce retention.
Sleeping on your back or using a silk pillowcase may help reduce friction while you sleep.
Maintenance
Natural lashes shed as part of their normal growth cycle, so regular infills are essential to maintain a full, balanced look.
We generally recommend booking infills every 2–3 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and desired fullness.
If you experience discomfort, irritation or notice excessive shedding, please contact the studio. We recommend against attempting to remove or adjust your extensions yourself.

Before Your Appointment
Preparing for your appointment helps achieve the best possible lift, colour and longevity.
On the Day of Your Appointment
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and lashes.
Remove all mascara, eyeliner and eye makeup before your appointment.
Avoid using oil-based cleansers or makeup removers, as they can leave residue on the lashes.
If you wear contact lenses, we recommend bringing your glasses, as your lenses will need to be removed during the treatment.
If you have any known allergies, sensitivities or previous reactions to lash treatments, please let us know before your appointment.
If you're unsure about the look you'd like to achieve, we'll discuss your desired result during your consultation to ensure your treatment is tailored to you.
After Your Appointment
The First 24 Hours
To allow your lash lift and tint to fully set, please avoid:
Water or excessive moisture on the lashes.
Steam, saunas and hot showers.
Swimming.
Mascara or eye makeup.
Rubbing or touching your lashes unnecessarily.
Caring for Your Lashes
With the right care, your lash lift and tint can last 6–8 weeks.
We recommend:
Cleanse your face gently using oil-free products around the eye area.
Brush your lashes daily with a clean lash wand to keep them neat and separated.
Avoid oil-based creams, cleansers and makeup removers around the eyes where possible.
Avoid rubbing, pulling or sleeping directly on your lashes to help maintain the lift.
Do not use eyelash curlers, as your lashes are already beautifully lifted and curling them may cause damage.
Maintenance
As your natural lashes complete their growth cycle, the lift will gradually soften.
For consistently lifted, beautifully defined lashes, we recommend booking your next Lash Lift & Tint every 6–8 weeks.
Need Assistance?
Every Lash Lift & Tint at Blushaé is performed with precision, artistry and thoughtful care. If you have any questions before or after your appointment, we're always here to help you enjoy the best possible results.

Avoid cutting or picking your cuticles before your appointment.
If you have any allergies, sensitivities, nail conditions or recent injuries, please let us know before your appointment.

Beautiful nails last longer with thoughtful care.
Caring for Your Nails
To help maintain your manicure, we recommend:
Apply cuticle oil daily to nourish your natural nails and surrounding skin.
Moisturise your hands regularly to keep skin and cuticles hydrated.
Wear gloves when cleaning, gardening or using harsh chemicals.
Use your fingertips rather than your nails to open, scrape or lift objects.
Avoid picking, peeling or biting your nails, as this may damage both the enhancement and your natural nail.

Regular maintenance helps keep your nails looking their best while supporting the health of your natural nails.
We recommend:
BIAB: Maintenance appointments every 2–3 weeks.
Gel-X: Infills or professional removal every 2–3 weeks, depending on your natural nail growth.
If you notice lifting or damage, please contact the studio. We recommend against removing or repairing your nails yourself.

Before Your Appointment
Preparing your skin correctly helps ensure a comfortable treatment and the best possible results.
Before You Arrive
Hair should be approximately 5–10mm long (around 2–3 weeks of growth) for effective removal.
Gently exfoliate the treatment area 24–48 hours before your appointment to help lift dead skin cells and reduce the likelihood of ingrown hairs.
Avoid tanning or prolonged sun exposure for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Please let us know if you're using prescription skincare products (such as Retinol, Retin-A or Isotretinoin), have recently had chemical peels, laser treatments, or have any skin sensitivities in the treatment area.
If you're feeling unwell or have broken, irritated or sunburnt skin in the area to be waxed, please contact us before your appointment.
Every appointment begins with a consultation to ensure your treatment is safe, comfortable and tailored to your needs.
After Your Appointment
Your skin may feel slightly warm or sensitive immediately following your treatment. This is completely normal and usually settles within a few hours.
For the First 24–48 Hours
To help minimise irritation, we recommend avoiding:
Hot showers, baths, saunas and steam rooms.
Swimming pools and spas.
Intense exercise or excessive sweating.
Direct sun exposure or tanning.
Perfumed lotions, deodorants or exfoliating products on the treated area.
Tight-fitting clothing that may cause friction.
Caring for Your Skin
To maintain smooth, healthy skin between appointments:
Moisturise the area daily using a gentle, fragrance-free moisturiser.
Begin gentle exfoliation 2–3 days after your appointment to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Continue exfoliating 2–3 times per week and moisturise regularly.
Avoid picking or scratching the treated area if mild sensitivity occurs.
Maintenance
Regular waxing helps reduce discomfort over time and encourages softer, finer regrowth.
For best results, we recommend scheduling your waxing appointments every 4–6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle.
Need Assistance?
Every waxing treatment at Blushaé is performed with thoughtful care, attention to detail and your comfort in mind. If you have any questions before or after your appointment, we're always here to help.

Before Your Appointment
To ensure the safest treatment and the best possible results, please read the following before your appointment.
Arrive with clean teeth, free from lipstick or lip products where possible.
Please advise us if you have sensitive teeth, gum disease, untreated cavities, leaking fillings or any other dental concerns.
Teeth whitening is not suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
If you have recently had braces removed, cosmetic dental work completed or lip filler treatments, please let us know before booking.
If you have crowns, veneers, fillings or other dental restorations, please note these materials will not whiten.
During your consultation, we'll discuss your suitability for treatment and answer any questions you may have.
After Your Appointment
For the first 24–48 hours, your teeth are more susceptible to staining while the enamel naturally rehydrates.
During this time, we recommend following a White Diet.
Foods & Drinks to Enjoy

Chicken and turkey
White fish
White rice
Plain pasta
Potatoes (without skin)
Cauliflower
Cottage cheese

As a simple guide:
If it would stain a white shirt, it can stain your freshly whitened teeth.
Maintaining Your Results
To help your brighter smile last longer:
Follow the White Diet for the first 24–48 hours.
Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing regularly.
Reduce consumption of staining foods and beverages where possible.
Consider drinking coffee, tea or coloured beverages through a straw.
Avoid excessive smoking or tobacco products.
Regular dental cleans will help maintain your results.
Touch-up treatments may be recommended every 4–6 months, depending on your lifestyle and staining habits.
Important Information
Results vary from person to person.
Teeth whitening works by lifting surface stains from the natural tooth enamel. While most clients notice a brighter smile, the final result depends on your natural tooth colour and the type of staining present.
Please note:
Yellow-toned teeth generally respond best to whitening.
Grey staining caused by tetracycline or fluorosis may not respond as well.
Crowns, veneers, fillings and other dental restorations will not change colour.
Teeth can only whiten to the lightest shade naturally possible for your enamel.
Some clients may experience temporary tooth sensitivity or mild gum irritation following treatment. These effects are generally short-lived and resolve within 24 hours. If you experience significant discomfort or ongoing sensitivity, we recommend consulting your dentist.
Eligibility
Teeth whitening is not suitable if you:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Are under 16 years of age.
Have untreated tooth decay, gum disease or leaking fillings.
Have a known allergy to peroxide or whitening ingredients.
Are taking medications that increase light sensitivity (please consult your medical practitioner before booking).
Have recently received lip filler or cosmetic tattooing around the mouth (within the past two weeks).
If you're unsure whether teeth whitening is suitable for you, please contact us before booking. We're happy to discuss your individual circumstances.

Preparing for your appointment helps ensure a seamless experience and the best possible result.
Before You Arrive
Please arrive with a clean, freshly cleansed face free from makeup where possible.
Moisturise your skin before your appointment, unless otherwise advised.
If you have particularly dry skin, gently exfoliating the day before can help create a smoother canvas for makeup application.
If you have any allergies, skin sensitivities or concerns, please let us know before your appointment.

If you have inspiration images, feel free to bring them along. They can be a helpful starting point as we create a look that complements your features, style and occasion.
Every appointment begins with a personalised consultation to ensure your makeup reflects both your vision and your natural beauty.
After Your Appointment
Your makeup has been professionally applied to help you look and feel your best throughout your special occasion.
To Keep Your Makeup Looking Beautiful
We recommend:
Avoid touching or rubbing your face throughout the day.
Blot excess oil with blotting papers rather than adding multiple layers of powder.
Drink through a straw where possible to help preserve your lip colour.
Carry your chosen lipstick or gloss for touch-ups after eating or drinking.
If you've received false lashes, avoid pulling or rubbing them, and remove them gently at the end of the day.
At the End of the Day
To care for your skin after your event:
Remove your makeup gently using a quality makeup remover or cleansing balm.
Follow with your regular facial cleanser.
Apply your usual moisturiser or overnight skincare products to help restore hydration.
Taking the time to properly remove your makeup helps keep your skin healthy and ready for your next occasion.
